Colin Breed has spoken to the Cornish Times regarding the MPs expenses fiasco. Colin is the lowest claiming MP in the entire South West region, and came 426th out of 646 MPs.

The House Authorities will be publishing individual receipts and a more complex breakdown before the Summer Recess. His 2007-2008 claims totals are as follows:

Second Home Allowance - 17,807

Office Costs - 19,113

Staffing Allowance - 74,860

Central Stationery - 627

Stationery and Postage - 2,025

IT Provision - 1,288

Staff Cover - 0

Communications Allowance - 10,308

Travel - 12,343

TOTAL: 138,371
